Bi-Axial Machines
This is the most complete automatic work cycle control system through PC/PLC. Thanks to command peripherals (mouse and keyboard) it is possible to set up all the parameters of the work cycle, visualize the temperature trends, timing of molding, handle production recipes, and thus running all the main function of the plants. The following utilities are particularly appreciable. An ideal machine for high volume production of articles. This Solution is optimum for the production of articles in different materials, with various thicknesses and with differing levels of quality, It can be equipped on request with 3 or 4 arm that change station to station simultaneously, thus alternating in the different phases. Many cycle customizing are possible to name a few are Double Loading/Unloading Station, Pre-Cooling etc.
Process
The mould is fitted on the arms of the machine .A predetermined amount of plastic, either in powder or liquid form, is deposited in one half of a mold. The mold is closed. The arm move to oven, the mold is rotated biaxial inside an oven. The plastic melts and forms a coating over the inside surface of the mold. The arm is removed from the oven and cooled. The mold is opened and the hollow part is removed.
Features
- High efficiency thermal insulation.
- Cooking chamber with air circulation at closed circuit, allowing a remarkable energetic saving.
- Efficient hot air circulating blower fans for fast heating of the moulds.
- Cooling chamber wholly in stainless steel.
Optional Choices
- Type of machines (Number of arms, Turret type, Independent conveyer, shuttle type machines).
- Type Oven (Cylindrical movable, Hexagon movable Or Fix oven).
- Type of arms (straight-Arm, offset Arm).
- Optional cooling station with high efficient air circulating fan or with water mist and water spray.
Selection Criteria Question
The selection of the right rotational molding equipments depends upon the application, facility, and budget. Discussing the following question after customized machines to fit specific requirements.
- What is the size of the largest mold or combination of mold to be run on the equipment?
- What is the Weight of the largest mold or combination of molds to be run on the equipment?
- Will be machine dedicated to one product, or will there be a mix of products requiring different cycle times.
- What is the anticipated volume of production?
- What type of material will be run?
- Is one part of the cycle (heating, cooling, or loading / unloading) inherently longer than the other.
- Is the machine for production or lab use?
- Will the application require molding a variety of sizes, requiring both straight and offset arms.
- What space and electrical power is available.
